Hi I’m Hayden Gentry, a sports media creator specializing in live broadcast production, athletics photography, and visual storytelling. I recently graduated Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Digital Media Design & Entrepreneurship, where I spent the last several years building my skills across NCAA Division I athletics, live sports broadcasting, and creative media production.

 

During my time with FGCU Athletics and ESPN broadcast, I produced media content for 100+ athletic events across basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, golf, swim & dive, and several championship competitions including Atlantic Sun Conference. My work includes live broadcast production, game day photography, athlete headshots, media day shoots, and promotional content supporting athletics marketing, recruiting, and fan engagement.

 

What draws me most to sports media is the atmosphere behind live events, the emotion, intensity, energy, and moments that happen in real time. As a lifelong athlete and sports enthusiast, I’ve always appreciated strong work ethic, culture, stories, players, and environments that make sports meaningful beyond the game itself. Whether I’m working behind a broadcast camera, capturing game day photography, or contributing to production crews, I enjoy being part of the team that helps bring those moments to life.

 

Outside of media, I enjoy traveling, architecture photography, fitness (completed my first half marathon), golf course operations and management, movie's and spending time with my two dogs. I am also passionate about community involvement and volunteer work which has played an important role in shaping who I am and how I approach collaboration, leadership, public speaking and strong relationships with others.
